My name is Delight Walker.  I have enjoyed working in the field of speech and language pathology for many years.  My experiences include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, preschool and school based services, acute and long term rehabilitation services and private practice. Speech Path, LLC, was established in order to provide private services to support individuals in improving their communication competence.  I currently hold a Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, and the Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  I am honored to be a life member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  My personal life includes involvement in a local church and community programs, and hobbies such as watercolors, and stained glass art.  My husband and I have three grown sons and 2 grandchildren.   Whether through the visual arts, or the art of oral communication, my passion is for everyone to develop the communication skills needed to build and maintain connections with the important others in their lives.
